About the data processing

Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it (or have it stored), which security techniques we use and for whom the data is transparent.

Magento & Hipex

Our web store has been developed with Magento software, we have chosen Hipex for our web hosting. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of our services will be shared with this party. Hipex has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Hipex is obliged to take appropriate security measures on the basis of the agreement we have concluded with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Regular backups are made to prevent data loss.

Email and mailing lists

Our website uses Mandrill/Mailchimp, a third party that handles e-mail traffic from our website and the sending of any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent through Mandrill/Mailchimp's servers. Mandrill/Mailchimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every e-mail that is automatically sent via our website you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. If you click on this you will no longer receive e-mail from our website. This can seriously reduce the functionality of our website! Your personal data is stored securely by Mandrill/Mailchimp. Mandrill/Mailchimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. We also use the services of Mandrill/Mailchimp for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Mandrill/Mailchimp does not have access to our mailbox and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.

Payment processors

We use the Mollie platform to handle (part of) the payments in our webshop. Mollie processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and in this context (anonymised) data with

to share with third parties. All the above-mentioned guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie's services for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not store your data for longer than permitted by law.

Klarna

In order to offer you Klarna’s payment methods, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna’s own privacy notice.

Reviews

We collect reviews via the Google Customer Reviews platform. If you leave a review via Google Customer Reviews, you are obliged to provide your name, place of residence and e-mail address. Google Customer Reviews shares this information with us so that we can link the review to your order. Google Customer Reviews also publishes your name and place of residence on its own website. In some cases, Google Customer Reviews may contact you to explain your review. Shipping and logistics

When you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of QLS, MyParcel and DPD to carry out the deliveries. External sales channels

We sell (part of) our items via the Bol.com and Amazon platform. If you place an order via these platforms, Bol.com and/or Amazon will share your order and personal data with us.
