A dark roast for long crema shots

Dallmayr Home Barista Caffè Crema Forte is a dark-roasted blend of Arabica and Robusta, roasted and produced in Germany and packed as 1 kg of whole beans. Caffè crema is the long shot that German, Swiss and Austrian machines are built around: pulled like an espresso but run on for longer, so you end up with a full cup under a thick crema instead of a 30 ml shot. Forte is the version with the most backbone.

In the cup

Strong character, full body, and chocolate as the note that stays with you. The Robusta gives the crema its thickness and the cup its bite, while the dark roast keeps the acidity low. That is why this Dallmayr coffee holds up in milk: in a strong cup, a cappuccino or a flat white you still taste the coffee.

Grinding
