Kimbo Cremoso: an Italian 50/50 blend

Kimbo Cremoso is a bean blend made in Italy by Kimbo, split evenly between Arabica and Robusta. The Arabica brings the aroma and a light sweetness; the Robusta brings the body, the punch and the thick crema the name is about. At 10 out of 13 on our strength scale this is a strong coffee, spicy rather than sharp, and full without ever tasting flat.

Espresso, and coffee with milk

It comes into its own as an espresso, but it is just as useful once milk is involved. In a cappuccino or a latte the coffee is still clearly there behind the foam instead of washing out, and a lungo gives you the same character in a longer cup.

Which machine

These are whole beans for a fully automatic machine or a semi-automatic espresso machine. The Robusta half also means more caffeine in the cup than an all-Arabica blend would give you, which is worth knowing if you drink several a day.
