Value box with 6 × Lavazza Caffè Crema Dolce (coffee beans, 1 kg).
Lavazza Caffè Crema Dolce is a medium roast Arabica/Robusta blend, produced in Italy and supplied as 1 kg of whole beans. It is a soft, approachable coffee: caramel and floral notes, a creamy texture and a smooth, rounded finish. Use these Lavazza coffee beans for espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato or filter coffee.
Details
Caffè Crema Dolce is Lavazza's gentler Italian bean blend. The Arabica beans bring aroma and softness, while the Robusta adds strength and a creamy mouthfeel. A medium roast keeps the coffee mild without letting it turn flat. Café du Jour rates its strength 7 out of 13.
Flavour
Soft caramel notes lead, with floral aromas and a light chocolate-like undertone behind them. The body is full enough to carry a fine crema, and the finish is smooth and rounded.
How to drink it
As an espresso it gives a soft, aromatic cup with a fine crema. The caramel tones blend nicely with milk, which makes it a good choice for cappuccino and latte macchiato. Brewed as filter coffee, it makes a mild, balanced cup.
Dolce or Gustoso?
Within the Lavazza range, Caffè Crema Dolce is the softer option next to Caffè Crema Gustoso. Gustoso has more power and spice; Dolce puts softness, creaminess and caramel sweetness first.
