Royal T vanilla chai latte powder

A chai latte powder that gives you a spiced, milky cup in about a minute. Royal T blends black tea and green tea with vanilla bean, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon, and adds honey granules for sweetness. The vanilla sits on top of the spice rather than under it, so the cup tastes warm and sweet rather than sharp.

Making a cup

Measure 28 g of powder for a cup of 180 ml. For the classic chai latte, use two-thirds hot water and one-third warm milk; the powder dissolves just as well in water alone or milk alone, so you can make it as light or as creamy as you like. Stir until no powder is left, and pour it over ice if you would rather drink it cold.

Where it works

At that dose the 340 g tin holds about twelve cups. Nothing needs steaming or whisking, which is why the same tin is used in drink dispensers and vending machines as well as in a kitchen at home.
