Crema or Crema Forte?
The two beans share a name and a purpose but differ in strength. Barista Classic Crema is the rounder, milder of the two: an everyday cup that works black or with milk. Crema Forte is, as the name says, the stronger version, with more body. If you mostly drink cappuccino or flat white, Crema Forte holds its own better against the milk; if you drink your coffee black and long, Crema is the easier choice.
Beans for your Melitta coffee machine
A bean-to-cup machine grinds the beans just before brewing. If you switch between Crema and Crema Forte, give the machine two or three cups before you judge the new bean, because the grinder still holds some of the previous one. Does Crema Forte taste too strong as a long black coffee? Keep it for espresso and milk drinks, and use Crema for the mug.
