A delicate Arabica blend from Pellini
Gran Aroma is made from 100% Arabica coffee beans, given a medium roast in Italy. Pellini describes it as a delicate blend: floral notes and sweet hints of amaretto up front, with a suggestion of toast and honey behind them. The taste is soft and harmonious, with a medium body and a natural sweetness, and an espresso pours with a fine, velvety crema the colour of light hazelnut. Brewing
With whole beans you grind for the method you use. Pellini lists Gran Aroma among its blends for espresso, lungo, cappuccino and iced coffee, and also for the moka pot, filter coffee, a Chemex and bean-to-cup machines. Grind fine for espresso, medium for a filter machine and medium-coarse for a Chemex. In a bean-to-cup machine the beans go straight into the hopper.
