Tea filters XS Finum - 1 to 2 cups - 12 x 100 pieces box discount

Loose-leaf tea without the strainer

Finum XS filters are paper bags you fill yourself, cut small for one mug, a tea glass or a small pot. Around a teaspoon of leaf per cup is right, and one filter holds enough for one to two cups. The bottom is folded, so the bag stands open on the counter while you spoon the tea in — which is the part that usually goes wrong with filter bags.

The flap does the work

There is a flap at the top, but it is not there to seal the bag. You hook it over the edge of the cup or the pot so the filter hangs in the water and stays where you put it; the leaves stay inside on their own. When the tea is ready you lift the whole filter out and bin it, with nothing to rinse and nothing to empty.

The paper

It is made from natural fibres, from FSC-certified sources, bleached without chlorine and assembled without glue, so the used filter can go out with the organic waste or onto the compost heap. It adds no smell or flavour of its own, which makes it fine for anything loose: black, green, herbal, fruit or rooibos.
