Who is the Outin Nano for?

The Outin Nano is for anyone who wants a proper espresso where there is no coffee machine or power socket: on a camping trip, while travelling, on a long day on location, or at a desk without a kitchen nearby. It also makes a practical present for someone who travels a lot.

Capsules or ground coffee?

The Nano takes Nespresso-compatible capsules as well as ground coffee. Capsules are the quickest and cleanest option on the road. Ground coffee gives you more choice of flavour; use a fine espresso grind, because a coarse grind runs through too quickly and gives a thin, weak shot. Grinding your own beans? You will find grinders among our coffee accessories.

How to use it

  1. Charge the battery fully via USB-C before you set off.
  2. Fill the water reservoir with cold or warm water.
  3. Insert a Nespresso-compatible capsule, or fill the supplied filter holder with ground coffee.
  4. Press the start button. The machine heats the water and then brews your espresso.
  5. Hold your cup under the spout.

Cleaning

Rinse the water reservoir with clean water after each use. The capsule holder and the filter holder are removable and easy to clean.

Frequently asked questions about the Outin Nano, portable electric espresso machine
Can I use ground coffee?

Yes. The Outin Nano includes a filter holder for ground coffee. Fill it with finely ground espresso and use it as an alternative to a capsule.

Which capsules can I use?

The Outin Nano is compatible with Nespresso Original-compatible capsules. You can also use the supplied filter holder for ground coffee, so the choice is entirely yours.

How do I charge the Outin Nano?

Charge it using the supplied USB-C cable. You can charge the device from a power bank, laptop or USB adapter. This makes it especially handy when travelling or camping.

How long does the battery last?

On a full charge you can make several cups of espresso. The exact number depends on the starting water temperature. If you start with hot water you use less energy per cup and the battery will last longer.
