Clean Express Clean Cappuccino 1000 ml (milk cleaner/cappuccino cleaner) box discount

A cleaner for the milk side of your machine

Every cappuccino or latte leaves a little milk behind in the cappuccino system, the hoses and the tubes. Left there, it builds up into deposits that a rinse with plain water does not clear. Clean Cappuccino is a liquid detergent made for that job. It comes from Nuova Ricambi, the Italian company behind Clean Express, which makes it as a cleaning product for the steam wand and the milk frother.

How to use it

• Measure 50 ml of Clean Cappuccino.
• Mix it with 1 litre of water.
• Run the solution through the milk system.
• Rinse with at least 1 litre of clean water.

Clean after every session with milk, or at least once a week. If your machine has its own milk-cleaning programme, follow the steps in its manual and use this solution where it asks for cleaner. At 50 ml a time, the bottle lasts for about 20 cleans.

Which machines it suits

Fully automatic coffee machines with a milk system, and any machine with a cappuccino system, milk hose or milk tube. It is used in the milk systems of Jura and Melitta machines, among others, in place of the manufacturer's own milk cleaner.

Milk cleaning is not descaling

Clean Cappuccino deals with milk residue only. Limescale comes from the water and needs a descaler, so keep both in your routine; you will find them together under machine care. The cleaner irritates the eyes: keep it in its original bottle and wash your hands after use.
