Segafredo Selezione (Oro) Espresso is an Italian espresso blend of Arabica and Robusta, sold as whole beans in a 1 kg bag. The Arabica gives the coffee its smooth taste, while the Robusta adds the kick. The bag has a new design, but the beans inside and the taste are unchanged. It is an espresso for any time of day: morning, afternoon or evening.

Selezione (Oro) Espresso is Segafredo's Italian espresso blend. It now comes in new packaging, but the name, the beans and the taste have stayed the same, so if you have bought it before, you get exactly the coffee you know.
The blend
The beans are a mix of Arabica and Robusta, and each has its own job. The Arabica gives a smooth taste; the Robusta gives the espresso its kick. On the Café du Jour strength scale it rates 8 out of 13.
When to drink it
This is not a coffee saved for one moment of the day. It works as a first espresso in the morning, as a break in the afternoon and as a cup in the evening. The bag holds whole beans, so you will need a grinder or a bean-to-cup machine.
