Selezione (Oro) Espresso is Segafredo's Italian espresso blend. It now comes in new packaging, but the name, the beans and the taste have stayed the same, so if you have bought it before, you get exactly the coffee you know.

The blend

The beans are a mix of Arabica and Robusta, and each has its own job. The Arabica gives a smooth taste; the Robusta gives the espresso its kick. On the Café du Jour strength scale it rates 8 out of 13.

When to drink it

This is not a coffee saved for one moment of the day. It works as a first espresso in the morning, as a break in the afternoon and as a cup in the evening. The bag holds whole beans, so you will need a grinder or a bean-to-cup machine.
