Café du Jour Cappuccino Cup & Platter

The cup has a capacity of about 200 cc, or some 200 ml up to the rim. In practice you do not fill it all the way, so that you keep room for a layer of milk foam.

That makes this the largest size in the original Café du Jour range and it is suitable for a cappuccino or a latte.

The three cups come from the same original Café du Jour range and only differ in capacity: the espresso cup is about 80 cc, the coffee cup about 150 cc and the cappuccino cup about 200 cc.

These sizes are regularly mixed up when ordering. If you are looking for a cup for cappuccino or latte, deliberately choose this 200 cc version and not the smaller coffee or espresso cup.

The cup and saucer are made of heavy porcelain. That thicker porcelain absorbs heat and keeps the temperature of your cappuccino up longer than thin crockery.

We advise rinsing the cup with hot water first. A preheated cup does not draw the heat out of your coffee.

Yes, you are ordering a set consisting of a cup with its matching saucer. The price applies per cup and saucer, so for six complete sets you add six of them to your basket.
