The four Nescafé instant coffees

• Nescafé Original – instant coffee, 200 g. The everyday Nescafé.
• Nescafé Gold – instant coffee, 200 g. Smoother and more aromatic.
• Nescafé Gold Crema – instant coffee, 100 g. Gold made for a cup with a layer of crema on top.
• Nescafé Gold Espresso – instant coffee, 100 g. Gold for a short, espresso-style cup.

Original or Gold?

Nescafé Original is the everyday Nescafé instant coffee. Nescafé Gold is the smoother, more aromatic range. Choose it if you drink your instant coffee black or want a softer cup. Gold Crema and Gold Espresso give you that Gold taste in a different style of cup: one with a foamy top, one short and concentrated.

How to make a good cup of instant coffee

• Let the kettle stand for a moment after it boils; water just off the boil gives a rounder cup than water at a rolling boil.
• Stir the granules with a splash of cold water or milk first, then add the hot water. The granules dissolve evenly, without lumps.
• Start with the amount on the pack and adjust to taste: more for a stronger cup, less for a milder one.
• Close the lid straight after use. Instant coffee absorbs moisture from the air and then clumps and loses aroma.

200 g or 100 g?

If you drink instant coffee every day, the 200 g packs of Original and Gold last longest. The 100 g Gold Crema and Gold Espresso are a good size to try a new style, or to keep next to your usual Nescafé for a change.
