The Hario Filter-in Coffee Bottle makes cold brew coffee in your fridge. Add ground coffee to the built-in filter, fill the bottle with cold water and leave it in the fridge for 8 to 24 hours. The longer it steeps, the stronger and richer the flavour. Drink it as it is, or pour it over ice cubes for an iced coffee on a warm day.
Not sure how long to leave it? Start at the shorter end, taste, and give your next batch more time if you want it bolder.
How the bottle works
The plastic filter sits inside the bottle and keeps the coffee grounds out of your drink. The removable silicone cap has a spout, so you can pour without spills. The bottle itself is heat-resistant borosilicate glass and holds 750 ml, about 5 cups, which is plenty to share with family or friends. When you're finished, it can go in the dishwasher.
