Details

Kimbo Espresso Classico is espresso in the Neapolitan style: robust, full-bodied and full of character. The dark roast gives it a deep flavour, while the blend of Arabica and Robusta brings together aroma, strength and crema. It rates 11 out of 13 on our strength scale, so this one is for people who like their coffee strong.

How it tastes

Intense, but not one-dimensional. You'll pick up distinct chocolatey notes with a subtle hint of toasted bread. A slight acidity adds just enough liveliness that the cup never feels heavy, and the finish is balanced.

Espresso, milk drinks and filter

As a straight espresso it's bold and aromatic, with the character of an Italian coffee bar. With milk it holds its own: the firm body and dark notes still come through in a cappuccino or latte. You can use it for filter coffee too, where it makes a strong cup with a recognisably Italian character.

Kimbo comes from Naples, a city where espresso is part of everyday life, and this Classico blend is roasted in Italy.
