The small size in the range

This is the 350 ml jug in the Café du Jour matt black range. That is one or two cappuccinos' worth of milk, depending on how much foam you like, which covers most mornings at home: you steam what you are about to drink and there is nothing left in the jug to pour away. If you regularly make drinks for more than two people, the same jug is also made in 600 ml.

The body is stainless steel, finished in matt black rather than polished. It is a Café du Jour jug, produced in China.

Handle and spout

The handle is shaped to sit comfortably in the hand, which matters more than it sounds: a jug you can hold steady is a jug you can pour accurately from.
