Compatible with Brita Intenza+ CA6702/00 water filter cartridge.

Fits Philips Saeco, Lavazza and Gaggia coffee machines.

This water filter purifies tap water from the likes of chlorine, lead, and copper, but it won't keep the machine completely free of limescale. We recommend descaling your machine at least twice a year (always take out the water filter before descaling). The cartridge filters 50 litres of water. This is about 400 cups of coffee or 1000 cups of espresso. Replace the filter at least every 2 months.

Bleed the filter before installation: dip the filter upside down in cold water and gently press the sides to let out any air bubbles.

FAQ
Customer Questions
Which coffee machines does this water filter type CA6702 fit?

This water filter is compatible with the Brita Intenza+ cartridge CA6702/00 and fits coffee machines from Philips Saeco, Lavazza and Gaggia that work with that cartridge.

Not sure? Then check which filter is currently in your machine or consult the manual of your appliance. If a different cartridge type is listed there, you need a different filter.

All brands mentioned are the property of their respective owners and are only stated to indicate compatibility.

Does this CA6702 water filter also fit another machine, for example Siemens or Jura?

No. This cartridge is made for machines that work with the Brita Intenza+ filter CA6702, so for appliances from Philips Saeco, Lavazza and Gaggia. Machines that use a different cartridge need a different filter.

So always check the filter that is currently in your machine, or look in your appliance's manual before you order. The connection on the underside differs per type, and a filter that does not fit cannot be installed.

How often do I need to replace this Intenza water filter?

The cartridge filters 50 litres of water. That is the equivalent of about 400 cups of coffee or about 1000 cups of espresso.

Replace the filter every 2 months in any case, even if you have not reached those 50 litres yet. If your machine gives a notification sooner, follow the advice of your appliance.

Do I need to bleed the air out of this water filter before I fit it?

Yes. Submerge the filter upside down in a vertical position in cold water and gently press on the sides until no more air bubbles escape.

Then place the cartridge in the holder of your water tank and follow the installation steps in the manual of your coffee machine.

Do I still need to descale my machine if I use this water filter?

Yes. This water filter cleans tap water of chlorine, lead and copper for example, but your machine will still build up limescale.

We advise you to descale your appliance at least 2 times a year. Always remove the water filter from the tank before you start the descaling programme.
