Before using the filter, it is best to put it whole in a bowl of water for 10 minutes. This saturates the filter and reduces the risk of air in the water supply hose. You can then connect the filter to the water supply hose. After 300 cups or once every 2 months at the latest, the anti-calcium water filter should be replaced for a new one.
