Green Tea Lemon - Fairtrade - 24 x Tea of Life - 25 tea bags box discount

Green Tea Lemon from Tea of Life

Green tea and lemon, in 25 individually wrapped tea bags. The green leaf keeps the cup light and fresh underneath; the lemon lies on top of it as a clean citrus sharpness. It is a refreshing tea rather than a filling one, and it takes neither milk nor sugar. Fairtrade certified.

Getting it right

Green tea is the one tea that does not want water straight off the boil. Let the kettle stand for a minute or two before you pour, then give the bag two to three minutes and take it out. Boiling water and a long steep pull bitterness out of green leaf, and a lemon note is too light to hide behind.

When it suits

Green tea comes from the tea plant, so there is caffeine in it — most people keep this one for the daytime. The lemon makes it an easy cup mid-morning or after lunch, when something sweeter or milkier would be too much.

Twenty-five wrapped bags

Each bag sits in its own sealed wrapper instead of loose in the box. Citrus aroma escapes fast once air gets at it, so the wrapping is doing real work here, and it means a bag comes out of a coat pocket or a desk drawer in one piece.
