Dallmayr prodomo Decaf - ground coffee - 500 g

Dallmayr prodomo Decaf ground coffee is a decaffeinated 100% arabica filter coffee from Dallmayr of Munich, ready-ground in a vacuum-packed 500 g pack. It is the same coffee as the prodomo Decaf beans, ground so you can brew it without a grinder. Dallmayr's own name for it is prodomo entcoffeiniert.

Brewing prodomo Decaf ground coffee

Dallmayr prodomo Decaf ground coffee is a filter grind for three methods: the filter coffee machine, the hand filter and the French press (cafetière). In a cafetière, let the coffee steep for a few minutes before you push the plunger down. The grind is not intended for espresso machines, a moka pot or a bean-to-cup machine. How Dallmayr prodomo Decaf tastes

Dallmayr prodomo Decaf tastes harmonious, with a full aroma. Dallmayr uses arabica highland coffees that are carefully decaffeinated, refined and then given a medium roast with its own full-aroma roasting, just like the regular prodomo. That gives you the prodomo flavour without the caffeine, for any time of day or night. On the pack Dallmayr gives three values on a scale of 5: roast 3, acidity 3 and strength 3. On the Café du Jour scale the strength is 6 out of 13, one step milder than the regular prodomo.

Vacuum-packed and kept fresh

Dallmayr vacuum-packs the coffee straight after grinding, so an unopened pack should feel hard. Once opened, ground coffee loses its aroma faster than beans. Keep an opened pack well closed in a cool, dry place, ideally in the original pack and away from strong odours.
