Espresso Madrugador - Fresh coffee beans
Early bird (or not)? Espresso Madrugador is a firm (but medium-roasted) espresso specially developed to make extra strong espressos to get your day off to a good start. Start your day right with a shot of delicious Madrugador. It takes a bit of guts, because you can't really call this blend mild! A slightly fruity espresso with a strong spicy kick.
The Madrugador is the flagship of our coffees and is roasted in a small authentic roastery in a barrel over a gas fire. After each batch, the roaster allows the beans to rest for a few hours to a day at most, and the flavour is assessed. Only if everything is right are the beans packed in a container from which any residual gases can escape but no more air can enter. The roasting date is always recent (maximum four weeks) and is always printed on the front of the coffee.
The Kimbo Prestige coffee beans come directly from the Italian coffee roaster Kimbo from Naples. Normally Kimbo mainly uses beans from Central and South America, but not with these beans. This Prestige Blend consists of beans of Asian and South American origin. A slightly softer blend of Kimbo than they normally burn and therefore more suitable for everyday use. The blend consists of 80% Arabica beans and 20% Robusta beans.
