Chamomile, and nothing else

These sticks hold pure chamomile flowers. Nothing is blended in with them: no black or green tea, no added flavourings and no added fragrance, so what you get is the soft, gentle taste of chamomile on its own. How strong it comes out is down to you: the longer the stick stays in the mug, the more chamomile you get.

Why there is no caffeine in it

Chamomile is a flower, not a leaf off the tea plant, so a cup of it is a herbal infusion rather than a tea — and that is where the missing caffeine comes from. The hour stops being a consideration. A fair number of our customers keep one for the end of the evening and drink it for the mild chamomile taste; we make no claims beyond that.

How do I use the Royal T Chamomile tea sticks exactly?

The Royal T Chamomile tea sticks are very easy to use: simply take a stick from the packaging and stir it into a cup of hot water. There’s no need to use a spoon, as the stick doubles as a stirrer. When the tea is strong enough for your taste, lift the stick out and let it absorb the excess water. You can then dispose of the stick straight away. This way, you avoid messy drips, there’s no string falling into your tea, and you have less washing up to do.

Is the Royal T Chamomile tea also suitable to drink before going to bed?

Yes, this is a caffeine-free tea, so you can happily drink it in the evening as well. Many of our customers make a cup of Royal T Chamomile part of their evening routine, simply for the soft, gentle flavour of chamomile. We cannot promise any effect on your sleep, though.
