Ordering as a business, how it works

As a business you order from us just as easily as at home. You pay directly and the invoice is automatically issued in your company's name.

Create a business account

Create an account and enter your company name and VAT number in your address details. All invoices are then automatically issued in your company's name.

Fill your basket

Choose your coffee, by the kilo or in smaller packs, beans or freshly ground. Tea, sugar, milk powder and cleaning products go in the same order.

Pay directly

Pay by credit card or PayPal. With a valid EU VAT number, VAT is reverse-charged: you will see €0 VAT in the final checkout step.

Invoice in your inbox

As soon as your order has shipped, you receive the invoice in your company name by email. To a separate accounts address too, if you like.

Good to know: payment on account (invoice with payment term) is only available to businesses with a Dutch VAT number. Other businesses pay directly; the invoice in your company name and the VAT reverse charge are handled automatically.

Frequently asked questions from business customers

How do I place a business order / order on account?

Payment on account (invoice with payment term) is only available to businesses with a Dutch VAT number. As an Irish business you pay directly by credit card, PayPal or one of the other payment methods offered. Create a business account with your company name and VAT number: every invoice is then automatically issued in your company's name and, with a valid EU VAT number, VAT is reverse-charged.

Can I receive an invoice in my company’s name?

Yes, this is possible both without an account and with a business account. If you have a business account, you need to enter your company name, Chamber of Commerce number and VAT number in your account details. All future invoices will then automatically be issued in your company’s name. For previous guest orders, we can manually create an invoice in the company name; please contact customer service for this. If you place orders without an account, you can enter the company details during checkout.

Can my invoice be sent to a different email address?

Yes, that’s possible. Please contact customer service for this. If you have a business account, you can provide a separate email address for invoices via our customer service. For future orders, invoices will then be automatically sent to that address.

What is the delivery time?

Orders are generally dispatched within 1–2 working days. Once your parcel has been dispatched, it is generally delivered within one working day in the Netherlands and Belgium. For delivery times to other countries, see: https://cafedujour.nl/klantenservice/bezorgopties

Can we try a few coffees first as a business?

Of course. Simply order a few 250 g packs of different coffees and let your team taste them. All coffees from our own roastery come in 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg, and on the product page you choose whole beans or freshly ground. Found a favourite? Order it by the kilo afterwards with volume discount.

Do you also supply coffee for hospitality or larger volumes?

Yes. Offices and smaller hospitality businesses simply order through the webshop: by the kilo, with automatic volume discount from 4 kilos. A separate quote with negotiated prices is usually only possible for orders by the pallet. For volumes like that, send us a message via our contact form with the coffee and quantity you have in mind and we will get back to you.

Can I reverse charge the VAT?

If you have a business outside the Netherlands but within the EU, you can reverse charge the VAT during checkout. Enter your VAT number without special characters and ensure that the billing and shipping addresses match. When the VAT is €0 in the final step of checkout, the VAT has been reversed. This cannot be changed after the payment has been completed.
