Can I order smaller packages or, for example, 500 gram bags instead of 2 x 1 kilo?
At this moment, we deliver as standard in 2 bags of 1 kilo each. We regularly receive requests for smaller bags, such as 500 grams or 250 grams, and we are taking this feedback into account for future product options. For now, however, it is only possible to order 2 kilos of coffee per composition.
Is this coffee suitable for daily use or as an 'all-round favourite'?
This blend is experienced by many of our customers as a crowd-pleaser: smooth in flavour, not too pronounced and therefore ideal for everyday use, at home or in the office.
For which brewing methods is this ground coffee most suitable?
This coffee is finely ground and therefore especially suitable for espresso machines, moka pots, and percolators. Because the ground coffee is versatile, you can also make a delicious cappuccino or latte with it. For filter coffee or cafetière, we recommend a coarser grind.
Is this coffee vacuum packed and how is the freshness preserved?
Yes, Segafredo Intermezzo ground coffee is vacuum packed to preserve the aroma and freshness as much as possible. This ensures the coffee remains rich in flavour for longer after opening.
Which beans and roasts can I choose and what do those choices mean for the flavour?
You can choose from a selection of arabica and robusta beans, for example from Brazil, Guatemala, Ethiopia, Colombia or Indonesia. We roast our beans between 'city' and 'full city' (medium to medium-dark), which results in a strong, but not oily bean. With the Brazil Santos you get a mild, sweet base, Guatemala adds a hint of acidity, Ethiopia provides spiciness, and Colombia gives a chocolatey note. By adding robusta (optional), you make the flavour stronger and fuller.
What exactly is on the label of my coffee packaging?
On each label, we always state the roasting date and your personal blend composition as specified with your order. Would you like extra information or, for example, your name on the packaging? Simply mention this in the comments field when placing your order and we will take care of it!
Which brewing methods are most suitable for these coffee beans?
These coffee beans are best suited for fully automatic coffee machines and espresso machines. You can also use them in a portafilter machine or coffee grinder for fresh filter coffee. They are versatile and suitable for all common brewing methods.
Are these coffee beans suitable for both espresso and cappuccino?
Mövenpick El Autentico coffee beans are perfectly suited for espresso thanks to their mild and balanced flavour. They are also well suited for cappuccino, although the mild taste may come through a little less strongly in milk-based drinks. Lovers of stronger cappuccinos sometimes opt for a more intense bean.
Are the beans suitable for both espresso and regular coffee?
Yes, these medium roasted 100% arabica coffee beans are very suitable both for a light espresso and for a regular cup of coffee from, for example, a fully automatic machine or filter machine.
The packaging has a new name, have the coffee beans and the recipe changed?
No, only the name and the packaging have been changed (previously this was called 'Segafredo Selezione Oro'). The coffee beans and the recipe have remained exactly the same, so you will still enjoy the same flavour you are used to.
Why do customers choose this coffee as their favourite for the workplace?
Customer reviews show that this coffee is a favourite in several offices due to its accessible, smooth flavour that appeals to a wide group of coffee drinkers and is suitable for various times of the day.
