What is the difference between the Hario V60 size 01 and size 02?

Size 01 brews 1 to 2 cups and uses VCF-01 filters, size 02 brews up to 4 cups and uses VCF-02 filters.

Hario V60 size 01 or 02: what is the difference?

The practical difference is how much coffee you brew at once. Size 01 is made for 1 to 2 cups, size 02 for 1 to 4 cups. If you mostly brew for yourself, size 01 is plenty. If you regularly brew for two people or more, size 02 is the safer choice.

The dimensions: size 01 is 8.2 cm high, 11.5 cm wide and 10 cm in diameter. Size 02 is 10.2 cm high, 13.7 cm wide and 11.6 cm in diameter.

Mind the filters, because they are not interchangeable. Size 01 takes the Hario V60 VCF-01 filters (white or brown, 100 pieces), size 02 takes the VCF-02. This applies to every V60 dripper, whether you pick plastic, porcelain or glass.
