Melitta Auslese coffee beans are the whole-bean version of Melitta's Auslese: whole roasted beans in a 500 g bag, made for people who grind their coffee fresh. On the bag it goes by the name Der Charakterstarke: a real character, strong, self-confident and lively. Full of character and rounded.

Its secret lies in full-flavoured beans that are carefully selected and roasted a little darker, giving a strong taste and a full aroma. Melitta rates the strength 4 out of 5 on its own scale, which is 8 out of 13 on the Café du Jour scale. If you would rather have something milder, Melitta Auslese Klassisch-Mild (ground) is the gentler choice.
Grinding Melitta Auslese beans
