What you get

This pack contains 10 second-hand jute sacks. Before they reached us, they carried raw coffee beans on their way to Café du Jour. The bags are picked at random from different countries, so the mix varies from pack to pack.

These are used sacks, not new fabric, and they look it. Some bags are worn and some may be open at the top. If you are after a rough, rustic finish, that wear is part of the appeal. If you want something tidier, trim the worn edges away and sew the jute into the shape you need.

What you can make with them

Each sack is large enough to cover a cushion or to reupholster a chair. You can also hang a bag on the wall as a piece of decoration, or use the jute to cover other items around the house. Keep the frayed edges and open tops for a rougher look, or cut and stitch the sacks for a cleaner result.
