Three fruit teas in one package

The Fully Fruity package from Café du Jour puts three fruit blends together, each built on a different base, so you can find out which style you actually want before you buy a full pack of one.

Oriental Orange - green tea with orange peel, eucalyptus and juniper berry. Fresh and citrusy, with a resinous lift behind the orange.
Forest Fruit - pu-erh tea with apple, hibiscus, orange peel, bramble leaf, raspberries, strawberries, stevia and natural flavouring. The deepest of the three: berry-heavy, tart from the hibiscus, sweet without added sugar.
Crunchy Apple Pie - black tea with apple, cinnamon and natural flavourings. Warm and spiced, and the one of the three that takes a splash of milk.

Because it is three blends rather than one, it also does the job of a tea gift package for someone whose taste in tea you do not yet know.

Brewing the three

The bases want different water. Give Oriental Orange water at about 75 to 80°C and two to three minutes, or the green tea turns bitter on you. Forest Fruit and Crunchy Apple Pie both take freshly boiled water: three to four minutes for the pu-erh, three to five for the black tea. All three are good over ice as well.

Is this loose tea suitable for brewing both hot and cold (as iced tea)?

Yes, our fruity tea varieties are perfectly suited to be prepared both as a hot tea and as a refreshing iced tea. For iced tea, use a little more tea per cup, allow the tea to cool completely, and serve it with ice cubes and, if desired, some fresh fruit.

Are the flavours in the tea package strongly fruity or rather subtle?
