English Blend from Tea of Life

An English blend is the tea most people mean when they say ‘a cup of tea’: black, full-bodied and made to take milk. Tea of Life builds this one from leaf grown in Sri Lanka and packs it as 25 individually wrapped tea bags.

In the cup

Rich and full, with the balance between strength and smoothness a classic English tea needs — enough body to stand up to milk, without the harsh edge that sends you reaching for sugar. It is black tea, so it contains caffeine.

Brewing it

One bag per cup, water straight off the boil, three to five minutes. The longer end draws out more tannin and gives a firmer, darker cup; the shorter end keeps it light. Press the bag against the side of the cup before you lift it out if you take your tea strong.

Organic and Fairtrade
