Gene Café roasters: the range
A Gene Café roaster gives you full control over the roasting process. You set the temperature, roast time and roast level, so you can create the exact coffee you enjoy, every time.

The range comprises two models: the CBR-101 and the CBR-301. Both roasters use vortex hot-air technology and are designed for home use. They are available in black and white.

The Gene Café CBR-101 is a reliable home roaster for those starting out with roasting. You set temperature and time manually via the control panel. The roaster has a capacity of 300 g and a roast time of about 13 to 17 minutes. Noise level is around 65 dB, similar to a quiet conversation.

Gene Café CBR-301

Cooling phase and carryover roasting
After roasting the roaster automatically starts a cooling phase. During cooling the beans will continue to develop slightly. Bear this in mind when choosing your roast level: stop a little earlier than you think to achieve the desired result.
