Why did a reviewer find the beans tasted 'burnt'?
That is of course personal. Our Mocca is roasted with a medium and slow roast to bring out the soft and sweet flavours. Some coffee lovers experience this as rich and full, while other drinkers may find it a little too strong. Feel free to try a smaller pack to discover if this flavour suits you.
Can I use these decaf drip bags with milk or only as black coffee?
This decaf coffee is versatile in flavour: very refined when enjoyed black, but thanks to its full body and gentle notes of chocolate and nuts, it also pairs excellently with a dash of milk if desired.
Can I add milk or sugar to this coffee, or is it best enjoyed pure?
This Ethiopian coffee has a naturally rich, balanced flavour that comes into its own when enjoyed pure and black. However, if you wish, you can easily add a dash of milk and/or sugar. The fruity and floral notes remain beautifully present, even with milk.
How does the coffee stay fresh after opening?
Our packaging is resealable and equipped with a valve that allows gases and air to escape from the bag, but does not let air from outside in. This way, the coffee stays fresh for longer after opening and the beans retain their aromas.
Is this clip food-safe and suitable for contact with coffee and tea?
Yes, this clip is made of stainless steel (SS) and is therefore safe for use with foodstuffs such as coffee and tea.
Can this Cold Brew Coffee Pot also be used for making tea or only for coffee?
This Hario Mizudashi was originally designed for cold brew coffee, but can also be used very well for brewing loose leaf tea. The permanent filter is suitable for both ground coffee and loose tea.
Is the filter reusable and easy to clean?
Yes, the permanent filter of the Hario Mizudashi is fully reusable and easy to clean. After use, simply rinse the filter under the tap, optionally with a little mild washing-up liquid. This way, you no longer need to buy paper filters.
How much coffee and water do I need for one full pot of cold brew with this Hario Mizudashi of 1000 ml?
We recommend using 80 grams of ground coffee with 1150 ml of cold water for the Hario Mizudashi Cold Brew Coffee Pot (1000 ml). This ensures optimal flavour extraction. Pour the water slowly in a circular motion, place the lid on, and let the coffee steep in the refrigerator for 8 to 12 hours.
How long should the coffee steep in the Hario Cold Brew bottle for the best flavour?
For optimal flavour, we recommend placing the bottle with coffee and cold water in the fridge for between 8 and 24 hours. The longer you allow the coffee to steep, the more intense and full-bodied the flavour will become. Feel free to taste it in between to determine your preference.
How would you describe the flavour of the Caffè Vergnano 1882 Aroma Mio Delicato coffee beans?

For which brewing methods are these beans suitable?
These beans are versatile and suitable for various brewing methods. You can use them for a strong espresso, but they also work excellently in a creamy cappuccino or a latte. Thanks to their mild intensity, they are also suitable for a regular coffee from the (fully automatic) coffee machine.
Which types of beans are used in this blend and what does this mean for the flavour?
The Lazarro Espresso Dark Roast consists of a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans. This creates a powerful, aromatic profile with a beautiful balance between smoothness, intensity and a lightly spicy undertone.
Are the Lazarro Espresso Dark Roast beans also suitable for fully automatic machines?
Yes. These are whole beans, so they are suitable for fully automatic machines and portafilter machines. They are not suitable for pod and capsule machines. With these beans you can make both an espresso and a café lungo. This is a dark roast, so check the bean hopper of a fully automatic machine regularly, as dark roasts can be slightly more oily.
