Ginger Lemon Infusion from Tea of Life

Ginger and lemon, and nothing pretending to be either: this is a natural blend with no artificial flavours added. The ginger gives the cup a slight sharpness at the back of the throat, the lemon sits under it as a fresh, tangy citrus note, and together they make a refreshing rather than a comforting cup. Twenty-five bags, each in its own wrapper.

No caffeine

This is a herbal infusion rather than tea from the tea plant, so there is no caffeine in it. Drink it in the evening without a second thought, or hand it to somebody who has had enough coffee for one day.

Brewing

Water straight off the boil and about five minutes. Ginger is a root and gives up its heat slowly, so a short steep leaves you with lemon and not much else; leave the bag in while you drink and the ginger keeps building.

Organic, Fairtrade, grown in Sri Lanka

The ginger and lemon are organically grown and the infusion carries the EU organic leaf together with Fairtrade certification. It is produced in Sri Lanka, where the whole process stays in the country, from picking through to packing the bags, so the work behind the cup stays with the growers there.
