Love from the Caribbean is a loose-leaf fruit infusion of lemongrass, candied mango and pineapple, apple pieces and toasted coconut flakes. There is no tea leaf in the blend, so there is no caffeine either — just ripe tropical fruit with a warm, nutty finish from the coconut. Brew it with freshly boiled water for five to seven minutes, or make it stronger and pour it over ice. Supplied in a 100 g pack.

Love from the Caribbean fruit tea

This is a loose-leaf fruit infusion rather than a tea: lemongrass, candied mango, candied pineapple, apple pieces and toasted coconut flakes, with no tea leaf in the blend and therefore no caffeine. The mango and pineapple carry the sweetness, the lemongrass keeps it fresh instead of syrupy, and the coconut leaves a warm, nutty finish.

Brewing it hot and cold

Dried fruit and coconut need heat and time, so use freshly boiled water and give it five to seven minutes in a strainer, infuser or filter pot; leave it longer if you want the pineapple to come through harder. For iced tea, brew it stronger than you would drink it hot, let it cool and pour it over plenty of ice. A slice of fresh pineapple in the glass picks up what is already in the blend.
