Maintenance set Coffee machine Siemens / Bosch - 10 tablets / 500 ml descaler

The set consists of two products: 10 cleaning tablets and a 500 ml bottle of descaler. Together they effectively remove coffee oils and limescale from your bean to cup machine. It is a fixed composition, you cannot adjust the contents of the set.

Because these are two different kinds of contamination. The cleaning tablets remove coffee oils from the parts that come into contact with coffee, such as the brew group. The descaler removes limescale from the water tank, the pipes and the boiler. Our customer service regularly gets the question whether one replaces the other: that is not the case, you need both. For the milk carrying parts you also need a separate milk cleaner.

This maintenance set is intended for bean to cup machines from Siemens and Bosch. To be sure, check the manual of your machine to see which cleaning and descaling programme it has and which dosage goes with it; that manual is always decisive. We do not promise suitability for brands that are not listed in the product information.

You use the cleaning tablet in the cleaning programme of your machine, in the place the manual indicates. You mix the liquid descaler with water according to the dosage on the bottle and pour it into the water tank, after which you start the descaling programme. Rinse well with clean water after both programmes, so that no residue is left behind that could make your coffee taste of cleaning product.

Most bean to cup machines give a signal themselves when a cleaning or descaling cycle is due; follow that signal. How often descaling is needed depends mainly on the hardness of your tap water and on how much coffee you make. With 10 tablets and 500 ml of descaler you can in practice go a good while.
