Yes, this blend actually contains pieces of fresh ginger. This provides the mildly spicy, warming flavour that our customers appreciate in this Orange Chai rooibos tea.

We recommend using approximately 2 grams of tea per cup (a heaped teaspoon) and letting it steep for 5 to 7 minutes in water at 95-100°C. You can drink the tea pure, but for a chai experience you can also add a dash of (frothed) milk, for example.
