The pack contains two kilos of coffee beans and the accessories you want with an espresso:

A Café du Jour espresso cup and saucer, Café du Jour Espresso Madrugador coffee beans, Caffè Vergnano 1882 Espresso coffee beans and a pack of Cantuccini of 175 grams, the Italian almond biscuits that traditionally go with an espresso.

You get whole coffee beans: two kilos in total. So there is no ground coffee in this pack.

You therefore need a bean to cup machine or a separate coffee grinder. If you grind yourself for an espresso machine, choose a fine espresso grind. Grinding fresh just before brewing makes a clear difference in taste.

No. This pack contains everything you need for an espresso except the coffee machine itself. So you provide the espresso machine or bean to cup machine yourself.

The cup and saucer, the coffee beans and the biscuits are included, so you do not need to buy anything else.

No, this is a fixed pack. The coffees and accessories are set and cannot be swapped for one another.

Would you like a different coffee or a different cup? Then you order those items separately in the webshop. The pack is meant to give you everything for a good espresso in one go.

We recommend about 16 to 20 grams of ground coffee for a double espresso. For a single espresso you use roughly half of that.

If you find the espresso too bitter, use a slightly coarser grind size or let it run shorter. If it tastes too sour, a finer grind size, a slightly higher dose or a slightly hotter brewing temperature helps.
