No. This item is the filter cartridge itself and is supplied without a filter head. You also need a matching filter head, such as the Brita Purity C filter head 1013637 for Purity Quell ST.

This mix up happens regularly: we have had returns from customers who expected a filter head but received the cartridge. If you already use a Purity C filter head, you only need this cartridge.

Brita states a service life of about 1 year or 960 litres for this filter cartridge. Whichever of the two you reach first is the moment to replace the cartridge.
