Can you personalise coffee with a photo/logo?
Yes, we offer personalised coffee bags with your own photo or logo on the label.
Why does the intensity on my packaging differ?
It may happen that the intensity on the packaging is displayed differently from on our website, or from packaging you have previously received. This is because coffee brands use different packaging and intensity scales per country.
For example, some packaging uses a scale from 1 to 5, while others show a scale from 1 to 10. The design, language and graphic presentation may also differ by market.
Is the coffee different then?
No. The coffee itself is the same. The composition and flavour profile of a specific variant remain identical. The only difference is in the marketing, language and presentation of the packaging.
Why do customers receive different packaging?
We work with European distribution channels. Within the European market, products may be traded freely, which means packaging from different countries may be supplied interchangeably. This is permitted and has no impact on the product.
Does this affect taste or quality?
No. Packaging differences have no effect on quality, freshness, taste or authenticity.
How can I be sure I have received the correct variant?
Check whether the product name and item code match your order. The variant name is decisive, even if the intensity scale on the packaging is displayed differently.
What can I do if I’m unsure?
Please feel free to contact our customer service and, if possible, include your order number and a photo of the product you received. We’ll be happy to take a look with you.
Why does my coffee taste different from last time?
Coffee can vary slightly in flavour per harvest, season and batch. This is normal and is part of the charm of our fresh coffee.

Which coffee beans are suitable for my fully automatic coffee machine?
For a fully automatic coffee machine (such as Jura, De'Longhi, Siemens), we recommend medium to dark roasted beans that are not too oily (greasy).
Do you roast the coffee yourselves?
Yes! Our own Café du Jour coffee beans are freshly roasted in our roastery in Honselersdijk. We roast coffee beans daily in small batches, so that the quality of our coffee remains high.
Which roast is the strongest?
Dark roast tastes the strongest due to its intense, bitter notes. However, that doesn’t mean it contains more caffeine.
Which roast contains the most caffeine?
Light roast contains slightly more caffeine per bean because it’s roasted for a shorter time. The difference is small, but it’s there.
