The medium roast brings floral aromas, light fruity notes and a subtle hint of chocolate, with a gentle sweetness and no pronounced bitterness. It makes a soft, aromatic espresso with a fine crema, and also works well as a lungo, in filter coffee or in a cappuccino.

Lavazza Espresso Barista Perfetto is a 100% Arabica blend of whole coffee beans in a 1 kg pack, produced in Italy by Lavazza. The Espresso Barista range is made for espresso at home with the character of an Italian coffee bar, and Perfetto is the soft, aromatic side of that range.
Flavour
Floral aromas come first, backed by light fruity accents and a subtle note of chocolate. The medium roast adds a gentle sweetness and a refined finish without pronounced bitterness. With a strength of 6 out of 13 on Café du Jour's scale, this is a coffee for aroma rather than punch.
Beans and roast
Lavazza says it selects only Arabica for Perfetto, from growing regions in South America, Africa and Asia, and gives the beans a slow, traditional drum roast so their aromas have time to develop. In the cup that shows as a balanced, elegant coffee.
How it brews
As an espresso it gives a soft, aromatic shot with a fine crema and a silky texture. The floral and fruity side also comes through as a lungo or in filter coffee. In a cappuccino or other milk drinks the coffee keeps its subtle character without overpowering the milk.
