What is Segafredo Selezione Arabica?

Segafredo Selezione Arabica is a pack of whole bean coffee with 100% Arabica beans. It gives you an Italian-style coffee experience with a rich aroma and a smooth, velvety crema. The flavour is fruity and floral, with chocolate notes and a nutty aftertaste. The beans come from Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Peru, and Costa Rica.

Who is it suitable for?

Segafredo Arabica suits you if you like a smooth cup with fruit, flowers, chocolate, and a nutty finish. It works for espresso, filter coffee, and cappuccino, so you can use it in more than one way during the day. The light roast and regular strength 6 make it a flexible choice for everyday brewing.

How do you use Segafredo Selezione Arabica?

Because this is whole bean coffee, you grind it just before brewing. Use a fine grind for espresso and a coarser grind for filter coffee. You can also use it when you want a cappuccino with a coffee base that stays smooth and aromatic.

  • Grind fine for espresso
  • Grind medium for filter coffee
  • Use it as a base for cappuccino

FAQ
Customer Questions
Are the Segafredo Selezione 100% Arabica beans slow roasted?

Segafredo does not mention slow roasting anywhere on the packaging of the Selezione 100% Arabica, so we cannot confirm it and we assume it is not the case. In practice, treat this as a regularly roasted Italian blend. What you do get in the cup is the classic Italian profile: a velvety crema, a fruity and floral aroma, a chocolatey taste and a nutty aftertaste.

If you are specifically after slow roasted beans, have a look at the fresh coffee from Café du Jour. Those beans are slowly roasted by hand in small batches and the roast date is always printed on the front of the pack. Slow roasting generally gives a softer, less bitter cup with more nuance in the aroma.
