What is the difference between AeroPress and V60?
An AeroPress steeps the coffee and then pushes it through a paper filter by hand, while a V60 is a pour-over cone where the water simply drips through. The AeroPress is quicker, makes one concentrated cup and is hard to get wrong; a V60 gives a lighter, very clean cup but asks for a steadier pouring hand. Our freshly roasted coffee has the same English label in every country. The label shows the grind you chose in capitals, without the words "Freshly ground".

Does Rooibos Ginger Lemon contain caffeine?
No, Rooibos Ginger Lemon is registered as caffeine free in our product data. The base is rooibos, which does not come from the tea plant and is naturally free of caffeine. The ginger and citrus peel in this blend do not add any caffeine either, so you can drink it at any time of day.
Does Detox Herbs herbal tea contain caffeine?
No, Detox Herbs is recorded as caffeine free in our product data. It is a herbal infusion without any leaves from the tea plant: the blend is made up of herbs, roots, seeds and spices, and these naturally contain no caffeine. So you can drink this herbal tea in the evening as well.
Are the Julius Meinl Jubiläum coffee beans suitable for a bean-to-cup machine?
Yes. These beans have a medium roast and are listed in our product data as suitable for the bean-to-cup machine and the semi-automatic machine. With bean-to-cup machines, most problems are caused by very dark roasted, oily beans that clog up the grinder, and a medium roast like this one actually stays drier. Run your machine's cleaning programmes regularly and clean the bean hopper now and then.
Is L'OR Riche Espresso really 100% arabica?
Yes. According to the product information from manufacturer Jacobs Douwe Egberts, L'OR Riche Espresso is a 100% arabica coffee, and that is how it is supplied to us. The claim is not printed prominently on the packaging itself, which is why customers sometimes doubt it. Following such a question we checked with the manufacturer and the 100% arabica specification was confirmed.
Does Marzipan Rose tea contain almonds?
Yes. The ingredient list of Marzipan Rose is: black tea, almonds, rose buds, flavouring, rose petals and natural flavouring. Together with the flavouring, the almonds create the sweet, nutty marzipan taste.
If you have a nut allergy, this tea is not suitable. If in doubt, always check the ingredient list on the packaging.
Which coffee filters fit the Hario V60 dripper size 02?
In this dripper you use paper V60 filters in size 02. The size of the filter must always match the size of your dripper, otherwise the filter will not sit properly against the conical shape.
V60 filters come in white (bleached) and brown (unbleached). Both fit in size 02, the difference is in the treatment of the paper.
