Our customer service sees two causes for this. The first is a guide on the inside that is worn or sitting at an angle. That is a fault in the machine itself.
The second is that the roaster was switched on without the roasting chamber being in place. During a repair you can tell afterwards which of the two it was.
If you suspect a fault in the machine, please contact our customer service first before replacing any parts yourself.
The cocoa comes from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, a small island among the Caribbean islands north of Venezuela. The cocoa there is managed by the St. Vincent Cocoa Company, which manages some 250 hectares of land and buys cocoa from around 100 farmers.
The chocolate itself is made and packed in the Netherlands by Krak Chocolade. The origin on the packaging therefore refers to the cocoa beans, not to the country of production.
These are whole, crunchy brown almonds with a layer of dark chocolate around them, in a 250 gram pack. Dark chocolate contains more cocoa and less sugar than milk or white chocolate, which gives this version a full and slightly bitter taste.
The crunchy nut combined with the dark chocolate makes this one of the most popular delicacies in our range.
Take the tea stick out of its wrapper and stir it through a cup of hot water. If you want sugar in your tea, add it first and then stir with the stick.
As soon as the tea is strong enough for you, lift the stick out and let the excess water drain from the stick. After that it can simply be thrown away. You do not need a tea strainer, filter bag or spoon.
Yes. The Kaffeehaus Mischung is intended as coffee for bean to cup machines in places where many different people with widely varying tastes drink coffee. The blend is deliberately approachable: not too bitter, not too sour, not too strong and not too weak.
The roast is medium, so the beans are not oily. That is exactly what you want in a bean to cup machine, because oily, dark roasted beans can clog the grinder and the powder chute.
No, unfortunately we cannot supply the glass collecting jar of the Hario Skerton PLUS separately. The jar is part of the complete grinder. So handle it with care, especially when unscrewing and rinsing it, because glass is fragile around the rim.
The pack contains two kilos of coffee beans and the accessories you need for a cappuccino:
A Café du Jour cappuccino cup and saucer, Café du Jour Espresso Madrugador coffee beans, Lavazza Barista Intenso coffee beans, a milk and cappuccino thermometer and a stainless steel ILSA milk jug with a capacity of 300 ml.
The ingredient list is: dark chocolate (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, vanilla powder), coconut cubes (coconut, dextrose, rice syrup, wheat starch, xanthan gum, locust bean gum) and glazing agent (gum arabic, sucrose, dextrose).
The pack contains 250 grams. The current ingredient list is always on the packaging itself.
Yes. The Qualità Rossa comes as whole beans in a 1 kilo bag and has a medium roast, so no blackened, oily bean. A bean to cup machine handles that nicely.
Customers regularly ask us which Hausbrandt suits their bean to cup machine. According to our product data this blend is suitable for espresso, filter coffee and cappuccino, so you can use it in many ways.
The cup holds about 80 cc, or around 80 ml up to the rim. A single espresso of 25 to 30 ml and a double espresso of 50 to 60 ml therefore fit easily.
This is the smallest size in the original Café du Jour range. For a regular cup of coffee or a cappuccino it is too small.
These tongs have holes instead of a fine sieve and are therefore mainly suitable for slightly coarser types of loose tea, such as blends with whole leaves or coarse herbs. Finely broken leaves and tea dust can escape through the holes and end up in your cup. If you mainly drink fine tea, choose a mesh tea filter instead.
The tasting pack consists of three 1 kilo bags: Julius Meinl Espresso Premium Collection, Julius Meinl Caffè Crema Premium Collection and Julius Meinl Espresso Trend Collection. That way you taste three different Julius Meinl blends side by side and discover which one suits your taste best.
The starter pack contains 4 types of loose leaf tea of 100 grams, a measuring spoon for exactly one cup of tea and a luxury tea strainer that you can use in both a cup and a teapot. That gives you everything you need at home to get started with loose leaf tea. All you have to do yourself is provide hot water.
This is a single origin of 100 percent arabica beans from Brazil, roasted by illy in Trieste, Italy. Our product data describes the flavour profile as fruity, nutty and caramel-like; illy itself mentions a hint of chocolate in its description.
The roast is medium and we list the intensity as 8, strong. So you get a full cup that does not taste dark or burnt.
Allow about 2 grams of loose tea per cup, roughly a level teaspoon. The 4.5 cm diameter gives the leaves plenty of room to open up, even in a large mug. So fill the tea ball no more than halfway, because tea that is pressed together releases less aroma and flavour.
