Customers looking for a classic Italian bar coffee often end up with this blend.

This is a typical South African rooibos, recognisable by its needle-shaped leaf and its fresh, mild taste. The ingredients list consists of one ingredient: rooibos. So no flavourings, herbs or other types of tea have been added. We pack the tea ourselves at our tea packing facility in the Netherlands, in 100 gram bags. The set consists of two products: 10 cleaning tablets and a 500 ml bottle of descaler. Together they effectively remove coffee oils and limescale from your bean to cup machine. It is a fixed composition, you cannot adjust the contents of the set.

We are not allowed to sell this tea as organic. We buy the Chun Mee from our supplier as organic tea, but our EU organic certification does not yet apply to the packing of tea. That is why there is no organic label on the packaging and we do not call the product organic.

This is one of the most frequently asked questions to our customer service. Descaling tablets dissolve limescale in the water-carrying part of your machine: the water tank, the pipes and the boiler. Cleaning tablets do something else: they remove coffee oils and coffee residue from the brew group and the parts that come into contact with coffee. So you need both, they do not replace each other. For milk-carrying parts there is a third product: milk cleaner.

That is possible, but pay close attention to the grind size. From our customer service we know that a grind that is too fine gets stuck in a filter machine, which makes the filter overflow and leaves grit in the jug or the cup. If you grind too coarse, the coffee becomes weak instead. For a filter machine use a filter grind and rather increase the dose, about 5 to 8 grams per cup, than grind finer. These beans come into their own best in a semi automatic or bean to cup machine.

The Gina tasting pack consists of two 1 kilo bags of coffee beans: the Gina Caffè Crema and the Gina Wiener Kaffee. That way you taste two Gina blends side by side and find out which one suits your taste best.

The Caffè Crema is known for its full crema layer. The Wiener Kaffee is roasted in Austria and has a full, robust aroma.
