No, the Discovery Box is a fixed tasting box with 15 blends from the Tea Leaves Collection. It is precisely that fixed composition that makes it suitable for tasting the full breadth of the collection in one go, from robust black tea to fresh herbal blends. If you like a blend, you then order it separately; the number on the bag helps you find it again.
Yes, this is loose leaf tea without bags, so you need a tea strainer, tea filter or filter bag. Preferably choose a roomy strainer or a filter in which the tea has space, because the rooibos and the lemongrass need to be able to expand in the water. You will find loose tea filters and tea strainers among our tea accessories.
The 100% arabica Decaf in this trio is decaffeinated with a chemical-free, water-based CO2 process. The beans come from South America and East Africa and are medium roasted in small batches in our own roastery.
As with every decaf, a small residual fraction of caffeine remains. In the EU, a legal maximum of 0.1 percent applies to roasted decaffeinated coffee. In terms of flavour you will recognise chocolate, nuts and dried fruit.
That works very well. Brew the tea twice as strong as you are used to, let it cool down and pour it over ice cubes. The fruity and floral character comes into its own when cold. If you would like a softer version, brew it cold: around 10 grams of tea per litre of cold water, 4 to 12 hours in the fridge and then strain it. A slice of lemon or some mint finishes it off.
Store the bottle dry, dark and not too warm, with the cap tightly closed. Light, heat and oxygen are the biggest enemies of fresh olive oil. Do not put the bottle in the fridge or next to the hob, and use the oil within a few months of opening for the fullest flavour.
Simply leave the bags you are not using yet sealed and store them cool, dark and well closed. Unopened, coffee beans stay good for about a year, although they taste best within a few months.
After every use, close the open bag properly, or transfer the beans to an airtight storage tin. Do not keep coffee in the fridge: moisture and other smells will spoil the flavour.
Yes, Pacific Dreams is certified organic and Fairtrade. The tea leaves come from organic cultivation and the growers receive a fair price for their harvest.
Close the bag properly after every use and store it dry, dark and at room temperature. Do not put coffee beans in the fridge, because they absorb moisture and odours there.
We advise finishing an opened 1 kilo bag within four to six weeks. If you want a kilo to last longer, fill a smaller airtight tin and leave the rest sealed.
Store the tea dry, dark and well sealed, for example in the original packaging or in a tea tin. That way the spicy notes are preserved the longest.
Loose leaf tea easily absorbs odours, so do not put it next to strong smelling products. The fridge is not a good place to store it.
One pack contains 25 individually wrapped tea bags of 2 grams, 50 grams net in total. With 1 bag per cup, that gives you 25 cups of tea. Wrapping each bag separately keeps the jasmine aroma in until the moment you brew the tea.
Mixing works fine, as long as you choose coffees with the same roast level. With ground coffee you do not have to change any grind setting, but a dark and a light roast together do give you bitterness and acidity in the same cup. So combine the Decaffeinato with the roast that is closest to it, with Classico being lighter and Intenso darker. Start with half and half and then adjust the ratio to taste.
Store the tea dry, dark and well sealed, for example in its original packaging or in a tea tin. That way the almond and cinnamon notes are preserved the longest.
Loose-leaf tea picks up smells easily, so do not put it next to strong-smelling products. The fridge is not a good place to store it.
Use around 2 grams per cup, pour over boiling water and let the tea steep for 6 to 8 minutes. Fruit tea does not turn bitter from a longer steeping time, so feel free to wait a little longer for more flavour. At 2 grams per cup, this 100 gram bag gives you about 50 cups. Because this is loose tea, you need a tea strainer, tea filter or filter bag.
Yes, this chai is certified organic and Fairtrade. The black tea comes from organic cultivation in Sri Lanka and the growers are fairly rewarded for their work. The pack contains 25 individually wrapped tea bags of 2 grams, together 50 grams net.
The beans come in an airtight pack that preserves aroma and freshness.
Close the bag well after opening and store it in a cool, dark and dry place. Do not put coffee in the fridge, because the beans absorb moisture and odours there.
Unopened, coffee keeps for about a year, but we advise drinking it within three months for the best flavour.
