Rooibos seeds are planted in February and March and harvested after about 18 months. The leaves of the plant are picked, crushed, and left to oxidise in the sun. During oxidisation, the rooibos needles develop their characteristic coppery, red colour, thanks to the iron-rich soil of South Africa. This decaf herbal tea is rich in antioxidants and has a full and aromatic flavour.
